Raising the bar in dentistry in the regions: the Anroja story

Anroja is a dentistry service provider with clinics in Kuldīga and Ventspils where patients receive modern and high-quality dentistry services. The company is focusing on growth by investing in the professional development of its specialists, as well as its technical equipment. State support tools have provided an essential boost in this endeavour as they have allowed the company to install modern equipment and expand the range of services offered.

Anroja first opened its doors on 27 May 2015 in Kuldīga with the goal of providing high-quality dentistry services not only in their own hometown, but also the surrounding region. The company’s specialists constantly top-up their knowledge in such areas as endodontics, prosthetics, surgery and implantology to provide their patients with the latest solutions.

In 2023 the company opened a branch clinic in Ventspils thus taking the next step in its technological development. Anete Paškova, dentist and Head of the Clinic, explains that thanks to the support programme “Support for Digitalisation of Business Processes” the company was able to purchase a 3D computer tomograph with cephalometry, which is a unique device allowing for the examination of both hard and soft tissue. Moreover, ENT doctors can also use it, for example, to diagnose sinus issues.

“The process of obtaining the support was very straightforward: we had to describe our need, select three potential suppliers and submit an application. Within a couple of months, the device was already at our new clinic and in operation,” Ms Paškova explains.

This positive experience encouraged the company to continue growing. Soon thereafter Anroja successfully secured support for purchasing a 3D intraoral scanner and accompanying software. This device provides precise scans of the oral cavity and displays the images for the patient to see as well. By sending this digital information to the laboratory, the time for manufacturing dentures is also reduced.

Currently the two Anroja clinics employ more than 20 people with the range of services offered constantly being expanded, including in the direction of beauty care. “We are pleased that patients find us, appreciate us and come back,” Ms Paškova says. “High-quality dentistry is no longer merely the prerogative of the capital city — people from Riga come to us. We can compete in both quality and accessibility.”
