Latvia at HOUTBOUW 2026

“HOUTBOUW” (houtbouwbeurs.nl) is a specialized event for the construction industry, combining an exhibition and thematic forums. The annual trade fair attracts professionals from the Dutch timber and hybrid construction sectors, as well as visitors and companies from Belgium and Germany.
As the Netherlands increasingly focuses on sustainable construction, material reuse and circular economy principles, “HOUTBOUW” brings together producers of timber frame structures, CLT, glu-lam and similar materials, modular building system manufacturers, as well as producers of bio-based, composite and hybrid materials. The event offers a unique platform to discover the latest innovations and trends shaping the future of construction.
In parallel, two related trade fairs will take place at the same venue - “RENOVATIE & TRANSFORMATIE” (renovatiebeurs.nl), dedicated to building renovation, and “MONUMENT” (monumentenbeurs.nl), focused on heritage conservation. All three events are accessible with a single ticket.
Latvia’s National Pavilion
Positioning Latvia as an experienced, export-oriented and innovative country, the Latvian national pavilion at HOUTBOUW 2026 will showcase leading companies from Latvia’s timber construction sector. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet up to five Latvian companies presenting their products and solutions, including innovative materials and modular building systems.
The pavilion’s goal is to highlight Latvia’s expertise in sustainable construction and wood engineering, foster new partnerships, and promote collaboration between Latvian and international industry players.
Organized by
The national pavilion of Latvia is organized by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) within the EU co-funded SME Innovation Programme, supported by the European Regional Development Fund and the State of Latvia.
