AI Connect 2026, a major artificial intelligence conference bringing together diverse audiences, will take place in Riga
On 22 August 2026, AI Connect 2026 will take place at the RTU Science and Innovation Centre in Riga. This one-day event will bring together AI developers, entrepreneurs, professionals, students, and families. The goal of AI Connect is to make artificial intelligence understandable, practical, and accessible to everyone by creating an environment where people can connect, learn, and explore the possibilities of technology together.
AI Connect 2026 will be held under the motto "Build. Use. Explore.", offering three parallel content tracks tailored to different audiences in both Latvian and English.
The Build track is designed for AI developers, IT professionals, data analysts, and technology experts. It will focus on the practical development of AI solutions, covering everything from data preparation and model development to integrations, testing, and deployment in business environments.
The Use track will focus on the practical application of AI in the workplace. Participants will discover real-life use cases and success stories, while learning about tools and working methods that can be implemented in their organizations as early as the next day after the event.
The Explore track will provide an interactive environment for students, young people, families, and technology enthusiasts. It will feature AI demonstrations, hands-on experiments, and opportunities to discover the latest technologies in a simple and engaging way.
In addition to the three thematic tracks, hands-on workshops will take place throughout the day, allowing participants to test various AI tools and solutions under the guidance of experts. The programme will also include a demonstration area, expert discussions, panel sessions, networking activities, and opportunities to meet industry professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, and technology enthusiasts from across Latvia.
AI Connect 2026 will bring together artificial intelligence experts from Latvia, the United States, Germany, Austria, Norway, Portugal, and Sweden. International speakers will include Yoad Mick, Isabella Hermann, Christian Kuhn, Martin Förtsch, Lorenzo Satta Chiris, and others, who will discuss the future of AI, digital transformation, Microsoft Copilot, generative AI, and the potential of human–AI collaboration.
The conference will also feature leading Latvian AI experts, including Māris Dreimanis, Guntis Čoders, Massimo Bensi, Betija Deina Muižniece, Ivars Krampis-Vanags, Aldis Greitāns, Kristaps Cirulis, Olavs Rāciņš, and others, who will share practical experiences and insights on the use of AI in business, healthcare, and other sectors.
