Export support for entrepreneurs is currently also available for 2027 operations

In order to ensure the possibility for Latvian companies to continue using export support also in 2027, the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia has updated the conditions for ensuring export support in the European Regional Development Fund project “Development of innovative entrepreneurship of SMEs” (Project Identification No. 1.2.3.1/1/23/I/001).

A notification regarding unilateral amendments to the contract and Annex 1 thereto has been sent to customers with whom contracts regarding provision of export support have been concluded until 29 September 2026.

The amendments aim to extend the period of access to support, providing for the possibility for companies to apply for export support within the framework of available funding and implement export activities also in 2027.

The most significant changes include:

• the availability of export support within the framework of available financing also in 2027;
• submission of applications for support by 31 December 2027;
• submission of payment claims by 31 March 2028;
• updating of certain provisions of the contract and its Annex in accordance with the extended aid period.
