Latvia’s Startup Ecosystem Continues to Grow: Climbing Higher in the Global Rankings

The latest StartupBlink Global Startup Ecosystem Index 2026 report has been published. It is one of the world's most widely used startup ecosystem rankings, analyzing the innovation environments of more than 100 countries and 1,400+ cities.

This year, Latvia ranks 48th globally in the startup ecosystem index, climbing one spot higher than last year. Meanwhile, Riga maintains its position among global startup hubs as the only Latvian city included in the index.
