Consultations on starting a business, promotion and availability of support in Latvia

During the consultation, you can obtain information about various types of business support offered by LIAA and other institutions, as well as answers to other questions you may have about doing business and attracting financing.

Who is it for?

Consultations are for individuals and companies who want to start a business or who want to learn about available business support options.

Support provided by the programme

• Receive information about various business support types offered by LIAA and other national institutions.
• Get advice on business development, financing, and company setup.
• Available for both natural and legal persons registered in Latvia.
• Consultation channels include a virtual assistant (“Maija”) or by email to jautajumi@liaa.gov.lv.

Duration / Term

• Consultations are available on an ongoing basis through a registered business.gov.lv profile.

Requirements

• There are no special eligibility requirements — the service is open to anyone interested in starting a business or learning about support.
• You need to register a profile on business.gov.lv to use personalized consultation and e‑services.
