"Jersika Chips" producer SIA "GLEAR" is one of the most innovative snack producers in the Baltic region. Chips are produced in Latvia, Jersika, using a new and unique technology in which the product is not fried in oil. As a result, "Jersika Chips" are healthier than traditional chips with less fat, natural and delicate taste characteristics, and without the harmful frying oil. "Jersika Chips" has 10 specially developed flavors with reduced presence of artificial additives, among which every gourmet will find his favorite. The basic raw material for production is microgranules, which are formed and granulated from dehydrated potato mass for the convenience of transportation and storage. After processing, the potato retains all its positive properties. During the manufacturing process, the granules are moistened with water, adding sunflower lecithin as an anti-burn ingredient. Sunflower lecithin is also one of the most versatile nutritional supplements needed for health. As mentioned above, the oil is not heated or boiled during the production process. Instead, the baking surfaces are covered with a special material (which is the "know-how" of the manufacturer), ensuring that the chips do not burn and create a pleasant fried potato taste. Since there is no need to mask the flavor produced by heating the oils, the chips are not enriched with large amounts of salt and spices. As a result, the final product has a much milder and more pleasant taste than those prepared using oil. The delicate taste is also enhanced by the small amount of unheated oil that is sprayed on the chips so minimally that the seasoning is applied to the surface of the chips. Since the chips are produced using special baking forms, the final product breaks down easily, melts in the mouth and does not damage the oral mucosa. Due to the small amount of oil, eating chips makes your fingers less greasy. The product packaging design, which has been evaluated by professionals and has received several awards, is also noteworthy.
